carrie and scott : engagements

Scott and Carrie met at a wedding. They were to meet at their friend's wedding and become new friends set up by the bride and groom. Turns out they met and they mutually really liked each other. Carrie said she knew Scott liked her when he requested her on facebook. Gotta love facebook!!! What an awesome story! Carrie and Scott told Stephen and I their story on how they met as we walked the streets in San Juan Capistrano. They could hardly tell their story without smiling the ENTIRE time! Scott mentioned they dated long distance while he lived in Colorado and that really made them realize that they were meant to be together. Lots of long nights chatting on the phone, chatting online, and long plane flights to see each other. Flying to and from Colorado can be extremely expensive and it was hard to see each other often until Allegiant airlines starting flying out of Colorado. Scott gave a huge sigh with a big smile and said, "I knew that it just had to be when flights were around 40 dollars!" Yes indeed!
I got the goosebumps when Scott told their story and just watching these two interact was truly a blessing. I just felt so much joy being around them and without a doubt, these two will do amazing things in this world. Scott mentioned that he is a teacher and i seriously cannot think of a better teacher than Scott. His heart is so sweet and joyful and I loved watching him interact with Carrie. Carrie's heart is beyond beautiful. We have chatted over and over through e-mails and I knew from the start this girl was a sweet one. I was SO excited that it worked out to shoot their engagement session on our way back to Phoenix. It couldn't have been a better ending to a wonderful trip. One thing I absolutely adore about these two is their endless amount of laughter they share with each other. I couldn't stop smiling behind my camera as I just watched them crack up about everything.
