Ashley and Kevin : San Fran Portrait Giveaway

This past February, I was looking for a couple in San Francisco that wanted to participate in a free photoshoot. I blogged a contest and had a ton of creative entires! The rules were simple and easy. The couple needed to take a creative self portrait of themselves by setting up their camera on a timer and they had to actually physically be IN the photograph. I loved all of the entires but I had to choose just one. Ashley and Kevin sent me a photo that made me laugh and look twice. I really didn't believe they were actually in the photograph! You'll have to check out my old post to see for yourself.
Stephen and I met Ashley, Kevin and Charlie in the gorgeous San Francisco golden gate park and began our session. For those of you that read my blog, you know that I am seriously in love with dogs. They just make me smile. I encouraged Ashley and kevin to bring their new addition to the family to add a bit more character to their session and Charlie was definitely a bundle of fun. As much as I love San Francisco, photographing in the city can be scary. Everything is close together and there are always cars zooming by. I thought we could still soak up a lot of the charm the city has to offer by staying on the outskirts of San Francisco. We ended out session on top of the city hills for a few quick shots and it was quiet and perfect.
I am so glad we had the opportunity to hang out with Ashley and Kevin. They are some of the nicest people around and it was truly a blessing to meet you two. Thanks for being so fun to work!! :)
Ashley and Kevin were just married last year and Charlie is the perfect way to start their first week of marriage!
