I
first met Julie in college at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. Julie is not only strikingly beautiful, but extremely smart and so lovely to be around. When she contacted me earlier this year about her wedding, I was SO excited to meet her fiance and photograph their wedding in beautiful Shafter, California.

We met for their engagement session in Laguna Beach, California where they share special memories together. Bryan's grandparents had a house down on a part of the beach that the state owns. Unfortunately, the state decided to tear down the homes and open the beach to the public. When Bryan told me the wedding reception would be at his grandparents house in Shafter, I knew the wedding would be so beautiful because of the special place it would take place.

We headed up to Shafter and walked amongst the almond trees that Bryan and his family have planted. We marveled at how gorgeous the trees are and we literally could not WAIT to photograph Julie and Bryan in these trees. It was truly a beautiful day and we feel so blessed to have watched Julie and Bryan tie the knot. It's always so refreshing to be a part of a wedding where everyone is so excited for the couple.

Julie and Bryan, thank you for allowing us to document your day. You both are beautiful inside and out!
Julie rescued this sweet little 6 week old kitten from the almond trees. I couldn't get enough of her!
This may be the best first look with a dad EVER. LOVE his expression!
so so beautiful.
Julie got ready at her home and it was the perfect place for the first look and some portraits! Isn't their home so beautiful?
Before heading to the ceremony, Julie and Bryan stopped to see Bryan's parents at his grandparents home. I loved their expression when they saw them together. A moment they will never forget.
This is the spot Bryan proposed to Julie. Row 16 in the almond trees Bryan planted. What a perfect place to stand as husband and wife!
Julie and Bryan were announced in to their reception and the guests was ecstatic to see them.
