hen we first met Shaun and Victoria, I could only HOPE that we would be able to work together. I left our meeting thinking we fit together so well and I was REALLY hoping they felt the same way. Our meeting wasn't JUST about photography and what we could offer them, it was simply getting to know each other. Stephen and I both felt so welcomed by these two and just wanted to get to know them better.
There is just something so special about these two and how they interact with each other. One thing about Victoria that I completely adore was how TIGHTLY Victoria hugs. Victoria completely embraces those around her and I love it.

Not too far from Sedona, Shaun grew up in Flagstaff. Shaun and Victoria often visit Sedona so they thought this spot would be fitting for an engagement shoot and I couldn't AGREE more! I was so impressed with how organized these two were for their session. They specifically found spots for the shoot and even walked the route the day before to make sure the light was just right. I was impressed and IN LOVE with the location. We walked the gorgeous red rock grounds and stopped anywhere that caught my eye. I had a hard time deciding because EVERYWHERE caught my eye! We had a great time together and we feel so BLESSED to be able to work with Shaun and Victoria this October for their wedding. Click HERE to see a slideshow of the rest of the day!
I don't think these two can get anymore beautiful!!! They just glow together.
I loved the second place they took us. It was an old lodge that had burned down. Old presidents used to stay here and it was SO neat to hear the bubbling creek and walk around these ruins that had burned down.
I LOVE THE RED ROCKS! Right before this shot, we all sat on the rock and watched the last of the sun drop behind the rocks. I watched Victoria and Shaun slump down in this position naturally and I just HAD to take one last shot. After we were finished shooting... a white lady bug landed on my leg and on the lady bugs back were two black little hearts. My first encounter with a cute little albino lady bug with black hearts. How fitting! :)
