Sarah and Matt Engaged

met Matt and Sarah a while back at the Biltmore shopping center to chat about engagement photos. We sat over a cup of coffee and enjoyed laughing at the process of wedding planning, as we all know, it can be so much fun. :) We decided to start the engagement session at a little cute coffee shop in downtown Phoenix called Hob Nobs. We felt it would be appropriate for Matt and Sarah to bring along some books for the shoot. They are not only avid book readers but they are also both politically involved in the state of Arizona. Sarah works at the capitol building here in Phoenix and ALOT of reading is required for her job! We walked around Hob Nobs and then crossed the street where we found some awesome colors.  
Steve and I both had a great time exploring the quaint little neighborhoods nearby with Matt and Sarah. I loved watching the two of them interact in front of the camera. We all know it can sometimes be hard to express ourselves when there is camera staring back at you, but Matt and Sarah made light heart of the situation and lots of laughter did the trick. I simply adored the both of them and I think they make a beautiful couple. Congratulations Matt and Sarah!

I don't think I had been back to the Capitol building since I had to visit it on a field trip back in junior high school. It was so neat to be able to actually photograph a couple there and soak up the beautiful architecture.

We headed back to a little neighborhood and grabbed a quick bit of light that was left in the cloudy sky. Just in time!

Ok girls..... Sarah got this FABULOUS dress at Neimen Marcus. LOVE IT.

I loved this little rose garden we found nearby.
